Scene 1: The Warning
Kilauea Volcano Observatory, Big Island – 48 Hours After Pearl Harbor Incident
Joji Joestar stood at the observation deck, watching steam rise from Kilauea’s caldera. Marina’s research had led them here, following the petroglyphs’ trail. The pearl from their previous battle pulsed with an orange glow that intensified as they neared the volcano.
“According to Hawaiian mythology,” Marina explained, her Stand 「OCEAN EYES」projecting ancient texts in the air, “Pele, the volcano goddess, fought against her sister Namaka, the sea goddess. But what if that wasn’t just a myth? What if it was a Stand battle that shaped these islands?”
Scene 2: The Observer
Dr. Akela Kalani, the lead volcanologist, was unusually young for his position – barely 25. His traditional Hawaiian tattoos seemed to shift in the volcanic haze as he showed them the seismic readings.
“The activity patterns changed three days ago,” he pointed to the charts. “It’s like the volcano is… breathing. We’ve never seen anything like it.”
Joji noticed something odd about the scientist’s shadow – it flickered independently of the light sources.
Scene 3: Ancient History
“The ancient Hawaiians didn’t just build heiau (temples) randomly,” Dr. Kalani continued, leading them to a restricted area. “They created a network of power points across the islands. Pearl Harbor was one node. This volcano is another.”
His shadow suddenly stretched, revealing his Stand,「BLACK MAGIC WOMAN」, a feminine figure wrapped in volcanic smoke.
“And you Joestars,” he turned, eyes glowing like embers, “you’re not the first family to chase our secrets.”
Scene 4: Volcanic Confrontation
The ground trembled as 「BLACK MAGIC WOMAN」revealed its ability – control over volcanic gases and heat. The observation room filled with sulfuric fumes.
“The masked man, Koa, they’re just pawns,” Akela declared. “We are the Kiaʻi – the Guardians. For generations, we’ve protected these islands from those who would abuse their power!”
「ISLAND IN THE SUN」burst forth, its solar energy creating a protective barrier around Joji and Marina. 「OCEAN EYES」quickly analyzed the toxic gases’ composition, searching for weaknesses.
Scene 5: Guardian’s Test
“Show me,” Akela challenged, his Stand intensifying the heat, “show me why the islands chose you, Joji Joestar!”
The battle transformed the observatory into a hellscape of heat and toxic fumes. 「BLACK MAGIC WOMAN」could not only control the gases but solidify them into obsidian weapons.
Marina’s Stand discovered something crucial: “Joji! The gases – they’re carrying information! Like the petroglyphs, but airborne!”
Scene 6: Ancient Memory
As their Stands clashed, Joji absorbed not just heat, but ancient memories carried in the volcanic fumes. He saw flashes of the past: Stand users from across Polynesia converging on Hawaii, a great battle that shaped the islands, and something massive being sealed away.
“You’re seeing it, aren’t you?” Akela’s voice softened. “What really happened when these islands were born?”
The pearl in Joji’s pocket resonated with the memories, projecting images of an ancient Stand arrow being forged in Kilauea’s fires.
Scene 7: The Truth
“The first Stand arrows weren’t created in Africa,” Akela revealed as their battle reached a stalemate. “That meteorite… pieces of it landed here first. Our ancestors used Pele’s fire to forge weapons of power, but they discovered something else – something that should stay buried.”
Marina’s Stand completed its analysis: “The petroglyphs, the harbor formation, these volcanic gases… they’re all part of a lock. A seal to contain whatever they found.”
Scene 8: New Alliance
A distant explosion rocked the volcano. On the observatory’s monitors, they saw figures in white suits entering lava tubes on the volcano’s far side.
“They’re here,” Akela cursed. “The Seekers. Like your masked man, they want to break the seal. That’s why we tested you, Joji. We need your help.”
“Why me?” Joji asked, though the memories in the gas had already shown him the answer.
“Because your Stand isn’t just named for these islands – it’s part of them. Your ancestor was here during the great battle. The Joestar family has two legacies: one that began in England… and one that began right here.”
Scene 9: The Choice
As sirens blared and the volcano rumbled, Joji looked at Marina, then at Akela. The pearl pulsed with increasing urgency.
“If we help you,” Joji decided, “we need the whole truth. What exactly is sealed under these islands?”
Akela’s Stand swirled the volcanic gases into an image: a massive figure, part ancient deity, part Stand, its power radiating through the very foundations of Hawaii.
“The first Stand user,” Akela whispered. “The one who touched the meteorite before it was a meteor. They called it Kanaloa – master of the deep, keeper of knowledge… and if the Seekers free it, they’ll have power beyond any Stand user in history.”
The ground shook more violently. Time was running out.
“Then we better move,” Joji said, 「ISLAND IN THE SUN」glowing with absorbed volcanic energy. “The islands chose us to protect them. So let’s protect them.”
