Scene 1: The Morning After
Pearl Harbor Naval Base – 6:00 AM
Dawn painted Pearl Harbor in shades of gold and crimson as Joji Joestar stood at the memorial, the pearl from yesterday’s battle warm in his pocket. His cousin, Marina Joestar-Kaiō, a 19-year-old naval intelligence officer, studied the petroglyphs he’d found with growing concern.
“These aren’t just any petroglyphs,” Marina adjusted her wire-frame glasses, her dark hair streaked with natural blue highlights. “They’re coordinates. Look – they match old Hawaiian star maps, but… something’s wrong with the constellations.”
Scene 2: A New Ally
Marina’s Stand,「OCEAN EYES」, manifested as a translucent humanoid figure covered in shifting constellation patterns. Its ability to analyze and decode any form of information had made her the youngest intelligence officer in Pearl Harbor’s history.
“The masked man wasn’t working alone,” she explained, her Stand projecting a holographic map of the harbor. “We’ve detected unusual energy signatures all around the island. Same type as Stand energy, but… older. Much older.”
“Like the power he mentioned,” Joji nodded, 「ISLAND IN THE SUN」materializing beside him. “The one sleeping beneath the islands.”
Scene 3: Harbor Depths
As they discussed the findings, alarms blared across the base. Security cameras showed crystallized bodies appearing throughout the harbor – perfect pearl replicas of sailors frozen in terror.
“It’s happening here too!” Joji started running, Marina close behind.
“Wait,” she grabbed his arm. “These aren’t just random attacks. Look at the pattern.”
「OCEAN EYES」projected the locations of the crystallized sailors. They formed a perfect spiral, centering on one point: the USS Arizona Memorial.
Scene 4: The USS Arizona
Below the memorial, in the underwater ruins of the USS Arizona, a diver in strange, iridescent gear was attaching devices to the sunken battleship. His Stand, 「DEEP PURPLE」, allowed him to breathe underwater and control water pressure.
Joji and Marina arrived just as he surfaced.
“More Joestars,” the diver removed his mask, revealing tribal tattoos that seemed to move on their own. “I am Koa Kalani, and you’re too late. The resonance has begun.”
Scene 5: Stand Battle at Sea
Koa’s Stand manipulated the harbor waters into a massive whirlpool. 「DEEP PURPLE」took the form of a monstrous mo’o, a Hawaiian water lizard, its scales shifting colors like an oil slick.
“The ancient Hawaiians knew about Stands,” Koa shouted over the roaring water. “They called them ‘Akua Noho’ – gods that dwell within! And now, we’ll awaken the greatest one of all!”
「ISLAND IN THE SUN」charged forward, its solar energy attacks dissipating in the churning waters. Marina’s 「OCEAN EYES」projected navigational data, helping Joji dodge the worst of the whirlpool.
Scene 6: The Revelation
“The ships,” Marina’s eyes widened as her Stand analyzed the pattern. “All the sunken ships from the attack in ’41… they’re arranged in a perfect ritual circle! The Arizona is the keystone!”
The pearl in Joji’s pocket began to glow, resonating with the devices Koa had planted.
“Your grandfather’s vampire masks, the Arrows, even the Rokakaka,” Koa laughed. “All pale compared to what sleeps here. The first Stand users weren’t in ancient Rome or Egypt – they were here! The Polynesian wayfarers found something as they crossed the Pacific, something they sealed beneath these islands!”
Scene 7: Power Awakens
The water began to crystallize, not into pearl this time, but into something darker, more ancient. The sunken Arizona groaned as something stirred beneath it.
“Your Stand,” Koa pointed at Joji. “It’s not just named 「ISLAND IN THE SUN」by chance. You’re connected to this place. Your Joestar blood mixed with Hawaiian ancestry… you’re the key!”
Joji felt a pull from deep below, his Stand resonating with whatever was awakening. Marina grabbed him as the crystallization spread.
“Joji, your Stand! Use it like yesterday – the solar energy!”
Scene 8: Turning the Tide
Understanding flashed in Joji’s eyes. 「ISLAND IN THE SUN」began to absorb not just sunlight, but the very energy of the islands themselves. The crystal formations shattered as his Stand unleashed a blast of pure power.
Koa was thrown back, his breathing apparatus damaged. “You fool! You don’t understand what you’re stopping!”
“No,” Joji stood firm, helping Marina up. “You don’t understand what you’re waking. These islands, this power – it’s not meant to be controlled. It’s meant to be protected!”
Scene 9: Aftermath
As police boats approached, Koa vanished beneath the waves, his Stand leaving a trail of disturbed water. The devices he’d planted went dark, but didn’t deactivate completely.
Marina’s Stand continued analyzing the harbor. “This isn’t over. The resonance was interrupted, but… something down there definitely woke up. And there are more petroglyphs, Joji. They tell a story about a war between Stand users thousands of years ago.”
Joji looked at the pearl, now etched with new symbols. “Then we better figure it out before they try again. Those masked guys, Koa’s group – they’re all after the same thing.”
“The question is,” Marina frowned, “are we trying to stop it from waking up… or are we supposed to help it?”
A distant thunder rolled across the harbor, but the sky was clear. Beneath the waves, ancient powers stirred, and somewhere in the depths, Koa’s laughter echoed like a warning.
